The Mutual launches new website
Maitland Mutual Building Society has launched their progressive new site featuring a brand new design and an abundance of new functionality.
With the objective of increasing member engagement with the brand, significant modifications have taken place. Amongst these is the use of large local images of the Hunter Region which were incorporated into the site to instil The Mutual’s identity in its members.

Enriched content including guides and tips were added to educate members about their finances in order to promote The Mutual’s focus on financial wellbeing. Included in the array of new functionality for this site is the Descriptive Menu which allows users to easily and quickly identify the contents of particular pages as well as accommodate for additional space for promotional placement. Tabbed pages were another new addition, allowing structured organising of content whilst utilising a unique design element which adds an additional level of engagement for the end user. The expandable side bar menu facilitates proficient information architecture permitting the user to quickly and easily find information about specific products. |

The left hand side bar navigation in conjunction with the tabbed approach accommodates both the needs of new members who are unsure of their options at The Mutual and revisiting members who are looking to take initial enquires to the next level.
The Mutual’s website redevelopment was significant project for Brighton and we anticipate a very positive response from its members. We look forward to seeing the impact of the new site on The Mutual’s business.
